The wallet is valued somewhere between $250,001 and $500,000 and contains various types of digital assets such as ERC-20 tokens and nonfungible tokens (NFTs).
Trump’s Hostile Stance Towards Crypto
Trump is known for his hostile stance towards the crypto markets. In May 2018 he gave orders to Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin to “go after Bitcoin [for fraud].” Days later Mnuchin was quoted as saying that the Treasury Department will enforce “very, very strong” regulations on cryptocurrencies to ensure they’re not used for illicit purposes.
